She also chose the colour combi that she wanted and also didn’t want the gold studs as featured.

So I suggested doing a subtle glitter on her green base since it was odd to leave it plain, so that’s Artistic Colour Gloss With It and Gelish Vegas Nights! All nail art was done with gel colours!!! Love them, they look so cute together!

Rachel even mentioned she wanted to corporate yellow in her next Gelish mani! Can’t wait for her next appointment!

Gelish: Sweet Lace

Sorry for the lack of updates! Been busy interning and attending nail classes!

Did a house call for my boyfriend’s mum this week before she flys to Taiwan! :) Hopefully my boyfriend is able to bring back Japan stickers so I’ll have a wide variety for you guys to spice up your nails! There’s a new nailtat store in Taiwan so I’m crossing my fingers that they will be able to find it!

Anyway, on to the nails!! First time doing embossed art on my bf’s mum and I don’t think I did a very good job :( this design is adapted from cynfulnails.com! Colours used are Angel.Pro 28, Gelish Sheek White, Gelish Black Shadow and lastly, Gelish Vegas Nights!

Brought over my lace stickers and I like how well the dots and lace complemented!

Gelish: Feminine Half-moons

Pei Shan came with Shanice to get their nails done! (will post up Shanice’s mani next!)

They both had a slight difficulty in choosing their nail designs and ended up telling me to do whatever I want to suit them! So after asking what they like or dislike, here’s the final outcome!

Did half-moons for her to make her nails look even longer. She doesn’t have free edge at all, her nail bed is really beautiful; slender and long! Gelish Vegas Nights for the base and alternating Gelish Sheek White and Gelish Less Talk!

She initially wanted her look to be simple, without any 3D art but Shanice and I suggested doing it to make her nails look even cuter! So we settled on white acrylic ribbons on pink base and vice versa! Also added polka dots to the other nails ^^

Super sweet set!

Gelish: Dainty Tiaras with Lace Accent

What’s on Mabelline’s nails? Accent lace design from the recent issue of Nail Max and the other fingers; princess tiaras is inspired by Ying here and here! Pictures don’t do this design justice, it is much more sparkly in real life!!

Used Gelish Vegas Nights and Angel.Pro 3 for the base colours and lined the half-moons with a silver striper from Misa! Also added crystals for each finger; hehe this looks like the crystals are hanging by a thread! The lace design is drawn using acrylic paint!

As we’re (Mabelline is my classmate ^^) starting our attachment next week; this set of nails are so work-appropriate and so dainty-looking!

Gelish: Hard Candy

After so many days of posting other people’s mani, it’s time for mine!! ^^

I used Angel.Pro 28 and Artistic Colour Gloss Fly for the half-bases with Gelish Vegas Nights! All art done with Gelish! Finally decided to use stickers from Japan that Ying got for me! ;)

I did find some inspiration in a nail art magazine that uses the exact same stickers and added 10 crystals on each hand for maximum bling! <3

My friends told me it looks like hard candy! I finally trimmed my cuticles and gave myself a full classic manicure :) however, my right pinky nail broke when I removed my previous Gelish T-T

Gelish: Floral Half-moon’s in Sweet Lavender

Dawn loves florals and she decided to do this exact set that I’ve done weeks ago; only the base colour was different this time round!

She chose Angel.Pro 5, a very light lavender, not so whitish as it seems on the photos; its so much prettier in real life :) base colour is Gelish Vegas Nights! I really really glad that I purchased Angel.Pro Gelly colours because each and every colour is so pretty!! Most of the other brands don’t come up with such pastel colours :(

I really love her long nail bed :) I’m sorry I keep posting repeated floral manicures… hahaha guess its a popular nail art among my customers :D

Gelish: Peek-A-Boo Leopard

Hehe what I love during the CNY peak period is that lots of people are more willing to try more new designs!!!!

This is actually adapted from a nail art magazine which I forgot, sorry!

The first set is actually done with nail polish, China Glaze White Cap as the see-through base, OPI Elephantastic Pink on top and blue leopard prints custom mixed from acrylic paint! I was in such a rush for this manicure that I forgot to take photos of it and this customer of mine was so kind to send me this photo! :D The triangles are lined with silver striper!

The next set is by using gelish!Gelish Vegas Nights with Gelish Less Talk with red leopard prints done with acrylic paint! Hehe this was my friend’s mum hands and I think that middle-aged ladies that are willing to try such outrageous prints are a bonus!!

Xin Ni specifically wanted half-moons with polka dots and a tiny little ribbon at her thumbs! Soo cute!

Base colour is Artistic Colour Gloss Hotzy, the rest of the art is done with acrylic paint! ^^

Personally, I love half-moons using Gelish because they conceal the nail growth really well! ^^

Gelish: Cupcake Icing

That day was a superb night! All my customers were so on time and they were all at least 10 minutes early! ;) I did Laura’s nails before at my workplace months ago and she managed to find my blog only recently and was pleasantly surprised that the blogger of this page is so familiar, haha! What a lovely concidence!!

Colours used: Gelish Make A Difference and Gelish Vegas Nights. Did a french manicure lined with a silver striper and accent nails on her thumbs!! Isn’t the cupcake so cute?? I actually like doing such accent nails because having cupcakes on ALL your nails might be too much haha!

Added rhinestones for the cherries and Forever 21 Multi glitter for the confetti icing :)

Gelish: Lollipop Dream

Honestly… this one look so much better in person!!!! :( Photos doesn’t do this manicure justice! I named this one ‘Lollipop Dream’ because the marbling really looks like hard candy!!!!

Went to my boyfriend’s place to do his mum’s nails before CNY!

I used Gelish Vegas Nights and Gelish Waterfield and used Angel.Pro 22 again for the half tips! (check previous post for a true colour!Hehe this was actually an old design that I did for myself 2 months back but it didn’t have the marbling on it! I suggested adding marbling in and it looks great! I aligned the half tips with silver glitter pieces!
