Sinful Colors Glass Pink & Call You Later: Swatches and Review

This is the second part of my swatch fest for Sinful colors! Missed out the first? Click here.

Sorry it took so long for me to post this up. I was so busy with school! I swatched these like a few weeks back and didn’t have the time to sit down and write a proper review. (that explains the nail length difference!)

I was requested to swatch Glass Pink and Pearl Habour but I couldn’t capture the glitter bits and shimmering parts of Pearl Habour so I didn’t post that swatch up, sorry!

Glass Pink is a glass-flecked baby pink. The formula was somewhat thick, I might have to thin it out abit by using Seche Restore. I think this is very work appropriate and very spring! I think this was one of the new arrivals from Sinful.

Call You Later is a apple green with yellow glitter. This was fairly easy to remove, considering that it’s a glitter!! I’d probably layer this because I don’t want to do 4-5 coats to get it opaque. Again, the formula was kinda thick but manageable.

Part 3 will be coming up very soon! :)

OPI Last Friday Night V.S. Sinful Colors Hottie

I’m having my basic theory evaluation driving test today right after school! I really hope I pass this time!!

Anyway, today I have for you the famous OPI Last Friday Night and Sinful Colors Hottie for comparison! Let’s see whether you can differentiate the two! No scrolling down till you’ve guessed it!

Both of them look so similar in the bottle except that OPI Last Friday Night has more hexagon glitters and it’s much more lighter in comparison. Both gives off the lightest blue tint and the formula wasn’t that optimal to work with. They’re so thick to apply, I did 3 coats for both.

Honestly… I suggest getting Hottie because it is so much cheaper! Personally, I don’t like shades like these because they’re too sheer but they’re good for layering. I still don’t get the hype on these type of shades when it was released with the OPI Katy Perry collection! I guess it’s just my preference!

I need to read up on my driving before I go to sleep! Goodnight :)

Sinful Colors Shausha and Sinful Colors Red Diamond: Swatches & Review

Good morning! Prettyseaeagle aka Eileen requested for swatches for all of my Sinful Colors polishes! I got those awhile back from a spree from Cherryculture and I’m guilty again of not using them. So here’s the perfect chance! :D Since I have 10 Sinful Colors polishes, I’m gonna take two steps at a time by showing you guys 2 different polishes! All swatches are 2 coats with no topcoat.

First up… Sinful Colors Shausha is a purple frost with golden shimmer! The golden shimmer shined through the purple beautifully. I can never expect how purple and gold could go so well together. I just don’t like the visible brush strokes part though. :/ besides that, this is my favourite Sinful from the others that I’ve purchased. It does not appear as dark as it would on the bottle with 2 coats so I’d suggest 3-4 coats for this.

Here’s a close up to see more detail!

Sinful Colors Red Diamond is a glass-flecked red with a tinge of coral with silver shimmer. It’s REALLY SHINY! When the light hits the polish, there’s a subtle purple tint thats glowing from it! G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. I definitely didn’t catch that in the bottle so what a surprise!

A macro shot of Red Diamond

Overall, I had a tough time swatching Shausha because of the visible brush strokes. Just be careful with that! The brushes also pick up more polish than it’s supposed to, but otherwise it’s okay. Just remember to swipe the brush at the neck before applying! Also, these are really creamy and I had a breeze applying these. Drying time was fine too, I cannot find a difference between these compared to the other brands (e.g. China Glaze) I wonder why Sinful Colors isn’t getting all the publicity as China Glaze. It cost less than CG per bottle and I think these polishes’ quality are able to match up to CG!

That’s all for today ;) Look out for my next Sinful Colors swatch post!

P.S. Which ones would you want me to swatch first from Sinful? Head over to my Polish Stash and leave a comment :D
