American Apparel Echo Park

Hey guys! I’m blogging at Hongkong so isn’t this awesome??? :D

I went to H&M and the ladies market last night and I practically went crazy. I bought quite a number of things for cheap! Because the Singapore H&M just opened on 3 Sept and it was crazy! The queue is insane because we have to queue to get in, argh. Lots of security guards to and only a few people are allowed to go in at a time. Kinda retarded because the store is going to be there for at least a few years so stop queuing people! Lol.

Haha excessive rant, lol. Anyway I removed my gelish mani because it chipped on me last week so I peeled them off even though I know it isn’t nice haha!

American Apparel Echo Park is soft neutral grey creme, very light and flattering! This was 2 coats!

American Apparel Hunter

Good morning!!! I’m still in bed, hahahaha! I hope you know I’m that awesome because I could still do a blog post when I’m half-awake!

Today’s my last paper and I’m glad it’s going be over and I’ll enjoy 6 weeks of holiday!!! :)

American Apparel Hunter is a luscious deep dark army green. This is such a perfect deep green and it’s great that it doesn’t look close to black. It’s so perfect for Fall!

And, I must applaud American Apparel for creating gorgeous colours for their nail line! I’ve no idea how fantastic their colours were until I decided to try them by ordering from the site. (Yes.. It took me close to 8 months to swatch this colour haha!) No issues with formula and look how shiny they are even without a top coat! I also like the names on their polishes, very simple but yet have a punch of their quirky taste for names.

I got the nail sets that they have on offer and I ordered the ‘Earth Tones’ pack. I believe it is still instock! I’m definitely re-purchasing the other sets as soon I have the extra cash! ;)

So what do you think about this colour? Yay or nay?

Cookie Nail Art Design

So this is my second challenge that is requested by my scuba diving senior, Eleanor for a cookie design! I searched online for inspirations and I saw this photo which is so cute! I re-created this design so here it is!

I’m going to do a step-by-step tutorial :)

1. Paint a chocolate light brown base colour on all your nails except your ring finger which will be blue.

2. Add chocolate chip cookies by using a darker brown polish! Don’t do all dots, try random shapes and sizes!

Photobucket

3. Draw in Cookie Monster’s eyes and mouth!

Photobucket

4. Add wacky eyebrows and eyeballs

5. Lastly, add a topcoat and you’re done!

I did a variation on my left hand and added Elmo! I know Elmo doesn’t fit in the cookie theme design but I just thought it would be cute to add him in :)

It looks very thick but after adding on a topcoat it’ll smoothen everything out!

And voila, it’s done!
